A mainstay of Portland pizza scene since 1984, Flying Pie Pizzeria on SE Stark street in Portland has served up citizens blocks away from the Tub ‘N Tan years before Montavilla was deemed ‘hip.’ That location does seem a logical cousin to the Milwaukie one considering it also boasts a Milwaukie Lumber in the same vicinity.
The decor lacks as much flare as their first location, but the pies are just as delicious, and their pizza dough is homemade and hand-rolled daily.
